Reflexiones en torno a la psicología discursiva: problemas, contradicciones y posibilidades

Resumen

La psicología discursiva parte de la noción de discurso, habla y texto como prácticas sociales, estudia cómo se construyen versiones de lo psicológico dentro de la interacción. El objetivo de este artículo es hacer una revisión crítica de esta perspectiva que en la actualidad se enfoca en el crecimiento y la sobrespecialización. Busco examinar las premisas de fondo de las cuales emana el proceso de producción de conocimiento: su definición, objeto de estudio y campo de acción. Marco una distinción entre dos comprensiones que se entremezclan en la literatura, una de carácter abierto interesada en todos los aspectos de la vida social, otra de carácter restringido centrada en construcciones discursivas de la cognición. Busco criticar la idea tácita de que lo psicológico y lo cognitivo son términos equivalentes, esta premisa excluye la posibilidad de estudiar otros vocabularios que las personas emplean en su vida cotidiana. El argumento central es que la práctica de investigación contradice el espíritu original de la perspectiva discursiva y limita su potencial.
