Scopes of psychology

Abstract

In Mexico today, one of the disciplines with the greatest influence in the social sphere is Psychology. As a science and as a profession, its practice involves epistemological, theoretical, empirical and intervention approaches that must be documented and made known as part of the discipline's own knowledge dissemination activities. This is how the book “Alcances de la Psicología” was published, a work coordinated by Iris Rubi Monroy Velasco and Karla Patricia Valdés García. In it, a series of chapters were compiled as a result of the work of the active members of the different tables that make up the CUMex Research Chair in Psychology.
