Migration and religion
Main Article Content
Abstract
The multiplicity of edges with which the phenomenon of migration is observed, both in opinion and in public policies, forces the dialogue between scholars of the social sciences and the humanities to remain in constant dynamism. Among the questions that continue to arouse interest are those that link human mobility with the religious phenomenon. Studying the field of beliefs in migratory environments, from theoretical, empirical and theological approaches, is a proposal launched by Amílcar Carpio and Yves Solis, coordinators of the book Migración y Religión. For the reader interested in psychology, Migration and Religion is a work that goes beyond an analysis of how migration shapes the lives of believers, practices and institutions in the context of human displacement.
