Abstract
The texts that are compiled in this book are the result of the reflections shared through the sessions of the Advanced Research Seminar on Body Studies (SemESCUE) carried out at the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Sciences and Humanities (CEIICH) of the University National Autonomous of Mexico (UNAM). In its development, the seminar was nurtured in various ways and intensities both by students of the Graduate School of Latin American Studies and the Graduate School of Political and Social Sciences at UNAM, as well as by specialists from other institutions within the various areas and disciplines of knowledge that make up the complex and diverse field of Body Studies.
